Earth Day Ceremony and Tree Dedication – remembering Mark Becker – Tues 4/22 at 3:30pm

On Earth Day (this Tuesday), April 22nd AT 3:30pm the Harrington Park Environmental Commission is planning a dedication to Mark Becker at Donald Horsey Park. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMark was a founding member of a wonderful Bergen County environmental group called Bergen SWAN. Mark tragically passed away in a car accident on February 26th at the age of 53. Please join us as we celebrate Earth Day and recognize Mark’s life and the contributions he made to the world around us. Mark’s family has been invited and Mayor Hoelscher will say a few words. There will be a short ceremony with a tree planting/dedication, some music, and a poem or two.
