Arbor day was on Friday, April 29th this year

In the month of April, through ice pop sales, Harrington Park School raised $1000 which will be donated to a nonprofit group called American Forests.  American Forests is the nation’s oldest nonprofit conservation organization and has been an influential voice for conservation and the environment since its founding in 1875.  American Forests will plant 1 tree for ecosystem restoration in the US for every $1 donation made. So, thanks to the kids at Harrington Park School, 1000 trees will be planted to restore areas of need in the US! Way to go kids!
